About

Who I Am

I’m P.J. Joseph, a trained gemologist with over 40 years of experience in the fascinating world of gemstones, and a long-time trainer and writer. My journey blends scientific precision with storytelling, as I’ve spent decades educating others through training and writing. I hold a professional diploma (DgemG) in gemology from the Deutsche Gemmologische Gesellschaft e.V., Idar-Oberstein, Germany, and the Gemological Institute of India, Mumbai, India. Since 2006, I’ve written over 40,000 articles on Blogger — without ads or SEO tools. Just one post after another, day after day. The result? Thousands of daily visits from readers around the world. All organic. All earned.

About Saju Elizamma

This website is named after my mother, Elizamma—a woman whose quiet wisdom has guided me through life. She never left our small town in Kerala, yet she understood the world in ways that still inspire me every day. She calls me Saju.

From her, I learned that true value often hides in plain sight. That beauty isn’t always obvious. That patience, observation, and care reveal what really matters. These lessons shape everything I do as a gemologist—every stone I examine, every market I navigate, every culture I explore.

Through this website, I want to share that perspective with you. Here, a mother’s insight meets a gemologist’s eye. You’ll find stories, guidance, and discoveries that help you see life—and its hidden treasures—more clearly.
